This policy explains what World’s Fair Capital (“WFC,” “we”) collects through its online platform at app.worldsfaircapital.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. The platform is used by borrowers, mortgage brokers and WFC staff to submit and manage real estate loan requests.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, and for brokers, your firm.
- Loan and property information you or your broker submit: borrower and entity details, property addresses, financial figures, and supporting documents you upload.
- Sign-in with Google, Apple or Microsoft: if you choose one of these, the provider tells us your name, your email address and an account identifier. We do not receive your password and we do not access your mail, files, contacts or calendar.
- Technical data: sign-in and activity records, IP address and browser type, kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and confirm you are authorized to use the platform.
- To review, price, underwrite and service loan requests, and to communicate with you about them.
- To send account and loan notices, such as sign-in links, document requests and status updates.
- To protect the platform against fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the service and the loan: with service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, email delivery, electronic signature, address lookup), with parties to your transaction such as title, insurance and legal providers, with capital and servicing partners involved in your loan, and with authorities where the law requires. Providers are limited to what they need for their task.
Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Providers that deliver our text messages use your number only to send our messages. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Cookies
We use a secure, essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie during provider sign-in. We do not use the platform to show advertising.
Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, and sign-in attempts are monitored. We keep loan records for as long as needed to service the loan and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to close your account, by emailing the address below. Some records must be kept by law; we will tell you if that applies. You can stop using a provider sign-in at any time by signing in with your email and password instead.
